PodiatryNZ Clinical Excellence
Wednesday 24th June 2020
1 – 4 pm Rotorua Events Centre
A quality management system provides a podiatry clinic with a set of coordinated processes to direct, control and continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of its performance. There is no doubt that podiatry clinics that have robust quality management systems are set above others.
PodiatryNZ has been at the forefront of delivering training to members on quality clinical management since 2016.
In this workshop, we will be conducting an audit of aspects of:
Contracts – including ACC, PHO and Rest Homes
Initial consultation processes. i.e. what is covered in various assessments such as high risk foot, biomechanical, ACC and Veterans etc.
Employee contracts – legal obligations – difference between contractors and employees. Employee benefits to include in packages.
We will be using real podiatry data for you to benchmark aspects of your human resource management policies and processes.
This workshop will be extremely beneficial to those who are employers or in supervisory roles and anyone who works on or has a contract with a provider.
This workshop will provide 3 hours of Professional Communication CPD for the Podiatrists Registration Board .
